Q: How much is it to go paintballing for the day?

A: We have two pricing structures - one for adults and one for our 'Young Gunz' (11-16 yrs) Check out our Prices and Young Gunz pages for more information. Please note that the youngest players allowed on site have to be eleven years old AND at secondary school.

Q: Do you offer group discounts?

A: Yes. Bring ten or more players on the day and receive either a free 'Organiser' place for yourself (based on the majority package booked) or 1000 free paintballs. Organisers also receive discounts on upgraded equipment - 'Piranha' markers (limited stock available). See our 'Specials' section for more details.

Q: Do you offer a discount on paintballs if they are purchased in bulk?

A: Yes. The price is reduced from £7.00 per 100 to £6.00 per 100 (£60 per 1000). The price of paintballs varies depending upon whether you are an NRG member or not. For more information about memberships please call or email us.

Q: Am I going to need more than the rounds of paint included in my package?

A: You are likely to get through an average of 500 or 800 paintballs in one full day, less for a half day. We charge £7.00 per extra pot of 100 paintballs. Extra paintballs can be purchased between games from administration.

Food & Catering

Q: What do you provide for lunch on a paintball event?

A: For our non-corporate events, we usually serve people a quarter pound cheeseburger and salad with all the normal condiments and sauces. Additional burgers are available for purchase as are Pot Noodles, crisps and various other snacks. Tea, coffee and cordial are available free all day.

Q: Do you provide vegetarian or alternative meals?

A: Yes we do. However you will need to inform us of any special dietary requirements (including vegetarian) for your group in advance.

Q: What kind of catering can you provide on a corporate event?

A: This depends on your budget and group size. Hot food or cold buffets can be provided with prior notice - please call us to discuss this.

Location / Travel / Venue

Q: Where is the NRG venue?

A: The NRG Paintball site is apporoximately 400 metres west of the edge of the Westerham township along the A25. The woodland backs onto the M25 motorway and is bordered on the other three sides by fields. We are about 45 minutes from Central London. See our Contact Us page for maps and directions.

Q: What junction on the M25 are you near?

A: We are close to both J6 and J5 depending on whether you are travelling clockwise or anti clockwise.

Q: How close is your venue to public transport?

A: We are close to Oxted rail station which is connected to either Victoria or London Bridge stations. If you are coming from London it is about 35 minutes travelling time then five minutes cab ride.

Q: How much does it cost for a taxi from the station to the NRG venue?

A: Approximately six pounds. We recommend calling 11 88 66 and ask for taxis in Westerham, Kent - or try D-Line on 0788 586 8085. You can book cabs in advance although they are also available from the station.

Q: Can you arrange transport for our group?

A: Unfortunately NRG cannot take responsibility for your travel arrangements to and from our venue.

Under 16s

Q: Do you offer a discount for under 16s?

A: Yes. See our Young Gunz page for more information.

Q: Is paintballing safe for under 16s?

A: Yes. At NRG we like our Young Gunz to feel like young adults and we treat them as such. They can be left with us and they will be fully supervised all day. As you can imagine, we take safety very seriously. If any players are found to be a danger to themselves or others then they will be asked to hand their kit in and will no longer take part. All rules are explained at the safety briefing prior to the commencement of play, which parents are more than welcome to stay and listen to. Parents are also welcome to take part and many dads and lads play together on the teams as well as mums and lasses.

Q: What is the minimum age for paintballing?

A: 11 years old - but you must be attending secondary school. However, we reserve to exclude a player over this age from the games if we feel that the equipment cannot be made to fit them securely and offer them adequate protection. We will of course refund that player in full their game fee.

Q: What is the minimum group size for a party of under 16s?

A: Any size group from 1 to 100 can play, providing there is a game running on the day.

Booking

Q: What is a preliminary booking?

A: A 'preliminary booking' is unconfirmed on both sides. You would make a preliminary booking because you are not sure of the exact numbers you want to bring. We cannot confirm your event until we have received a deposit payment from you. Only once we have received your deposit will you receive a booking confirmation from us by post.

Q: How do I make a booking?

A: You can make a booking over the phone between at any time by calling us on free phone 0808 1800 888. If we are out of the office, please leave a message on our answer phone letting us know what date you are interested in, which event and for how many people. Alternatively, use the on-line booking forms available here.

Q: What type of deposit are you looking for?

A: We require a non-refundable £10 deposit per person to secure your places on the date in question. This can be paid by cash, credit card or by cheque.

Paying Deposits

Q: Where do I send deposits to and whom do I make the cheque payable to?

A: Please make your cheques payable to NRG Paintball and send them to:

The Studio
Covers Hall Farm
Westerham
KENT
TN16 2EY

Q: Do I need to pay a deposit in order to confirm the booking?

A: Yes. You will need to send a non-refundable deposit to NRG Paintball. Failure to pay a deposit in advance of your event will result in the cancellation of your booking. We cannot guarantee you a game if you turn up on the day without prior booking.

Q: Do you accept Credit or Debit Cards?

A: Yes we do, simply call us on freephone 0808 1800 888 to arrange payment.

Q: How far in advance do I need to pay deposits?

A: Deposits should be paid at least two weeks prior to the game date to confirm your booking. Due to the fact we often reach capacity, your deposit is essential as early as possible so that you avoid the disappointment of having your preliminary booking replaced by someone who has paid their deposit. The sooner you pay your deposit the better chance you have of securing your booking. Bookings that have paid in full before the game date will receive an extra 100 paintballs for each player that arrives on the day. You should always phone us prior to playing to ensure we have room for your group.

Q: Do you accept Credit Cards on site?

A: Yes - all cards except Diners Club and American Express are accepted.

Q: How long does each paintball game last?

A: Each game lasts for approximately 10-20 minutes depending on the mission - see our games page for further information.

Q: How many games will we play?

A: Approximately 8 to 10 missions depending on the skill of your opposition.

Q: How long does the day last?

A: You can opt for a full day (9:00am to 4:00pm) or a half day (9:00am to 1:00pm or 11:00pm to 4:00pm).

Please remember that we ask you to be on site a minimum of 30 minutes before play commences to get kitted up and have a full safety briefing.

Occasionally the finish time may need to be adjusted by the site manager for safety reasons. The finishing time may vary slightly depending upon lighting conditions in the woodland.

Q: What clothing and footwear should we bring with us?

A: Suitable outdoor clothing and comfortable boots or outdoor shoes with ankle support. Do not wear high heels or smart clothing that you would rather keep clean. Remember, camo suits are supplied as part of the package. These offer a good deal of protection from the elements and mud! Gloves are another essential item especially in the freezing cold of winter! Armour backed gloves can be purchased on site for that extra little bit of protection.

Q: Because my group are travelling up to your site separately, do I need to give them anything before they set out?

A: Yes. Each group will need a map, your mobile phone number plus the site phone number, just in case they get lost or are going to arrive late.

Q: What time should we arrive?

A: If you have opted for a full day you should usually arrive by 9am. If you have arranged a half day play will start at 11.30am and you should arrive by 11am. Failing to arrive in good time may result in some or all of your group missing out on a game, and may even delay other groups from starting. A full safety briefing must be given to all players before commencing play.

Q: Do your goggles mist up when you are playing?

A: Misting up during games can be a problem. Unfortunately there is no easy way to tell if you're going to mist up. It's all got to do with how hot your face gets during game play. What we can do however, is supply you with a solution called 'Calotherm' which helps to dramatically reduce the mist. Applied correctly, the Calotherm should help keep you mist free for the entire day's play.

Q: Can we bring our own paintballs?

A: No, sorry, you can't. This is for safety reasons, to ensure as far as possible that all paintballs used on site are safe to be fired at people and have not been tampered with in any way.
